Oklahoma Couple Charged In String Of Vending Burglaries

Two Oklahoma serial vending machine burglary suspects have been caught and charged, according to Enid News.

According to an affidavit filed in the case, a burglary was reported at D & F Happy Snacks between Oct. 17 and 19. A few weeks later, a vending machine owned by D & F Happy Snacks was burglarized at a local hospital. Video surveillance from that break-in showed a white male wearing a brown coat use a key to open the machine and steal the money. A few days later the same vending company reported that another one of its machines located at a hotel had been opened and robbed.

On Nov. 16 and 17 D & F Happy Snacks reported two additional, burglaries at their business.

Video surveillance identified the suspects as Kory Allen Dotson Barney and Cassandra Henry. Barney was charged with five counts of second-degree burglary and a count of knowingly concealing stolen property. His accomplice and girlfriend, Cassandra Henry, was arraigned on charges of second-degree burglary and knowingly concealing stolen property. Officers received a search warrant for Barney’s house where they found the stolen keys from D & F Happy Snacks. After searching the home, detectives also found items reported stolen from the vending company.
