Supply Vending Machine Brings Convenience To Vassar College Students

Nov. 5, 2015

When the Vassar College bookstore closed, students were faced with a problem: there was no official vendor of non-food products such as first aid kits and medicines on campus, according to The Miscellany News. This week, however, the college debuted a newly installed living supplies vending machine to provide students with the option of purchasing miscellaneous items.

The machine has been successful so far, the source reports, which has inspired development of plans for other vending machines around campus.

The machine is located in the College Center and is operated by Poughkeepsie, NY-based Triple J Vending.
