A man in Asheville, NC has been arrested for breaking into vending machines in at least six local high schools and several businesses. The suspect, Roy Johnson, faces more than 31 charges related to vending machine burglaries and vandalism which occurred in June and July of this year, reports WLOS.
One surveillance video shows the suspect using an ax to break into a vending machine located within a high school. Several of the charges include 12 counts of damage to coin/currency machine and nine counts of break coin/currency machine, the source reports.
