Some University Staff Say Vending Changes Would Save Money

Staff at the University of Wisconsin-Madison suggested that the university revamp and streamline vending as part of its money-saving initiative, according to The Capital Times. The university asked staff members to identify greater energy and resource conservation efficiencies to fill state budget cuts. Vending was only one of more than one hundred suggestions, alongside getting rid of cafeteria trays, closing down the campus during breaks and getting new toilet paper.
