A firework prank damaged a motel vending machine in Cottonwood, AZ, The Verde Independent reports. Authorities responded to reports of smoke coming out of the vending machine on May 26. Upon arrival, the fire department found an unlit firecracker inside the change slot and a smoking firework inside of the machine’s recovery shoot, the source reports. Authorities shot foam fire retardant inside the machine to disable the firework.
