March 11, 2015

Ohio-based Innovative Vending Solutions has built a vending machine that has baseball fans trading tweets for merchandise. The Twitter-activated vending machine debuted in Cincinnati, OH, at Fountain Square to promote the Major League Baseball (MLB) 2015 All-Star Game events.

Fans were prompted to tweet a vending machine-generated hashtag to @AllStarGame for a chance to win MLB and All-Star-related prizes. Prizes included autographed baseballs and MLB merchandise.

MLB All-Star Game weekend tickets went on sale on Tuesday, March 10. The All-Star Game weekend kicks off from July 10 to 14 in Cincinnati, OH.
