Twenty-One States To Raise Minimum Wage This Week

The minimum wage will increase in 21 states this week, according to USA Today. Each state’s increase will take place on Jan. 1, 2015, except New York where it will increase on Dec. 31. A bill to raise the federal minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 per hour is stalled in Congress. The National Conference of State Legislatures has a review of the minimum wage by state here.
