California Park District Rejects Recommendation To Leave Soda Out Of Vending Machines

The recommendation from an Oak Park, CA, planning committee to stock only water in park vending machines located adjacent to Oak Park schools has been rejected by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District, according to The Acorn. On Nov. 6 the Rancho Simi board voted to keep soda in the machines. Park vending machines offer the district $5,000 in yearly revenue, the source said. Full article.
