Illinois Automatic Merchandising Council Announces Jennifer Saverino As President

May 21, 2014 - At the 2014 Annual Midwest Conference in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin this past weekend the announcement was made that Jennifer Saverino will be the new President of the Illinois Automatic Merchandising Council.  Jennifer is Executive Vice President of Saverino & Associates, Inc. of Carol Stream, Illinois.

It was noted that this is the first time in the history of the IAMC that a daughter has followed her father as President.  Frank Saverino, Sr. was the 18th President of the IAMC from 1996 through1998. He continues to serve and is currently a IVPAC Committee Trustee.  Frank is the President of Saverino & Associates, Inc., and the Mayor of Carol Stream.

Jennifer brings over 25 years experience as an IAMC member and served in many council board positions before becoming President for 2014-2016.  She has received many honors over her years of service such as:

1990 – IAMC Humanitarian Award

1991 – IAMC Extraordinary Service Award

1992 – IAMC Dedication & Support Award

1998 – IAMC Exemplary Service Award

2002 – Broker of the Year – Automatic Merchandiser Magazine

2011 – IAMC Distinguished Service Award

Jennifer stated that she is most grateful for IAMC and the work they continue to do through legislative efforts, educational programs and public relations activities.  This positive impact that they have made on this industry since 1966 is one that she wants to continue as she also brings a new prospective to the IAMC.  Jennifer’s business philosophy along with her knowledge and leadership abilities will be a guiding force. 

She is eager to begin her role as President and proud of the confidence that is entrusted to her by the IAMC and all of the loyal members and affiliate members.
