Michigan Schools Look To Vending Machine For Help

The Bridgman school district in Michigan recently discussed using a “smart” vending machine as a solution to the problem of long lines in the cafeteria during lunch, according to The Herald-Palladium. The school is calling the machine a separate cafeteria line. It would calculate the student’s product selection to ensure it met the federal school meal standards. Products would include muffins, cookies, pretzels, nachos, baby carrots and salads. Full story.
