Starbucks just announced their fall menu. You can see the menu additions in a slide show posted at the FoodBusinessNews.net website. Starbucks is featuring lots of pumpkin items – a very popular fall flavor. On the more indulgent side, you’ll find Pumpkin Spice Latte, Salted Caramel Mocha and Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins. They’re now offering Almond milk as non-dairy alternative to customize beverage orders.
It’s not too late for you to feature a few products for the fall season. If some of those are new items, it could create some excitement at the locations you serve.
The real take-away for you is to begin thinking about how to introduce a Winter Menu in December. That will lead to your Spring Menu and later your Summer Menu.
A seasonal menu gives people a reason to visit your “store” and try something new and different. Be sure you “broadcast” the announcement to generate awareness and create interest among the shoppers at your locations. There will be increased traffic and that, hopefully, will mean you’ll sell more food, snacks and beverages.
After all, it comes down to selling more stuff.
