Cantaloupe Community, a new online forum launched by Cantaloupe Inc., offers vending operators an online meeting place where operators can connect, network and learn from each other.
The new forum, which launched at Cantaloupe University, the company’s user conference, promises to serve both those new to the vending industry as well as enterprise-level operators. Cantaloupe has a dedicated community manager to create and update content regularly and host planned discussions, field and fulfill customer requests for community features such as webinars and podcasts as well as business operations basics such as sample location agreements or tips to get started with micro markets. The company has also designated customer service support and technical support for the community to respond quickly as needed.

Community resources will continue to roll out, says Elyssa Steiner, CMO for Cantaloupe Inc., based on customer feedback. “We've been asked that a lot by our customers things like, ‘Hey, I hired a new employee. Is there any training that you can provide?’” Steiner said. Certification courses, information about upcoming events and user conference programming are among the resources that community members can use to provide that training.
