7-Eleven's Sips & Snacks Initiative Offers Better-for-You Products On-the-Go

Aug. 26, 2020

CNN recently explored how 7-Eleven is expanding offerings of different products, including better-for-you foods and beverages. Through the company's "Sips & Snacks" effort, 7-Eleven will introduce smaller brands to its customers, serving as a launch pad for emerging food and beverage brands.

The concept will reportedly be tested in 200 locations in California. Featured brands include plant-based, vegan protein shakes from Koia, Pop Zero algae oil popcorn and Pescavore's ahi tuna jerky strips.

Operators should take note of how convenience stores are meeting customers' needs for healthy, better-for-you products available on-the-go.
