Amazon To Open Grocery Store Near Los Angeles

As an Amazon spokeswoman confirmed, the company intends to open a new grocery story in Irvine, Calif., which is near Los Angeles, Bloomberg reports in a story Yahoo! Finance shares.

Amazon has posted jobs for managers and grocery staffers for the store, the article noted. "Amazon Fresh" has applied for a liquor license for a location that used to be a Babies R Us, according to The Orange County Register.
