Albuquerque City Council Looks To Require Healthy Vending Machine Options

The Albuquerque, NM City Council is expected to vote on a resolution that would require all vending machines on city property to include healthy options, reports KOB. Supporters of the resolution say that it will help make the city healthier. The resolution reports that 25 percent of adults in Bernalillo County are obese or overweight.

The city council is expected to vote on the resolution on Monday, Aug. 1.
