Portland, OR, patisserie delivers Valentine’s Day treats through vending machine

Since 2001, Portland, OR’s Pix Pâtisserie has offered locals a little slice of France with its innovative and traditional French desserts, chocolates and house-made ice creams.

More recently, the patisserie has been selling some of its treats through an upgraded carousel refrigerated vending machine placed outside the store’s front door.

Dubbed Pix-O-Matic, the 24-hour, contactless vender offers macarons, conservas and Bar Vivant, among other Pix favorites.

Since Feb.1, the Pix-O-Matic has been stocked with Valentine desserts like heart macarons, boxes of chocolates and chocolate roses, along with cute (and romantic) gifts. Be mine?
