Kevin McCann, owner of McCann's Local Meats, is now selling uncooked meat from a vending machine at his butcher shop in Rochester, New York, Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports via USA Today.
He may also add prepared foods to the cashless vending machine, which displays the meat products in revolving shelves. McCann said he followed suit when he saw that a colleague, Joshua Applestone, owner of The Applestone Meat Co., had started selling meat from vending machines, and wanted to serve customers who are avoiding contact due to the coronavirus pandemic.
