Editor's note: Criminals have used a variety of means to break into vending machines. Blowtorches are among those, El Paso County Sheriff's Office reports.
Sheriff's Office Investigating Burglary
On May 20, 2020, between 4:18 AM through 4:44 AM, two suspects accessed vending machines at a car wash located in the 7400 block of McLaughlin Road. The suspects used a blow torch to break into the vending machines and stole money from it.
One suspect is described as male, standing approximately 5’6”-5’8”, wearing a blue shirt, white jacket, black hat, light jeans, green backpack, and face mask.
The other suspect is described as male, standing approximately 5’6”-5’8”, wearing a black long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, yellow hat, and brown shoes.
The suspect vehicle is a white coupe, possibly a Toyota or a Subaru.
