Farmer's Fridge plans additional 200 locations in the coming year, expanding into Milwaukee and potentially other Midwest markets, according to the Chicago Tribune. The Chicago-based company established in 2013, sells freshly made salads out of vending machines in 75 locations around the Chicago area. Other upgrades to the shopping experience include more modern looking equipment and new touchscreen software that will tie in with an app customers can use to check inventory and find the nearest Farmer's Fridge machine. Plus, there they will be able to access rewards.
