Ranger Design announces new appointments, fleet improvement program

Rochester, NY-based Ranger Design, which markets van storage systems, is strengthening its executive team with the goal of improving the lifecycles of its customers’ fleets, according to an announcement by Peter Young, who heads up Ranger’s business development team.

Michael Diaz has been named to director of Fleet Upfit Solutions. In his new role, Diaz will oversee the North American business development with a focus on providing more options to national fleets, traditional OEMs and new EV partners. 

Diaz joined Ranger Design in 2019 and previously led business development for the central U.S. region.  Prior to Ranger, he spent 13 years with Enterprise Holdings.

Jim Bigelow, former senior fleet director of Cox Enterprises, is new to Ranger and will be responsible for clients in the telecommunications and utilities sectors.

During his 30 years in the fleet industry, Bigelow held senior fleet positions with DHL Express, Pinnergy, ServiceMaster and UPS. Most recently at Cox Enterprises, he managed a national fleet of more than 16,000 vehicles.
