Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Extends Emergency Declaration

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has announced the extension of its emergency declaration, which would have expired August 14, 2020, due to the public health emergency of COVID-19. The FMCSA updated and extended the declaration until September 14, 2020, to enable commercial drivers to be eligible for service relief hours. The drivers must be transporting essential items including food and paper products.
