Bellevue, WA-based Hero Jerky produces and markets a special mix beef jerky, meat sticks and Monterey Jack cheese snacks. The mix combines popular flavors in one package. Hero Jerky was founded to help support American veterans; for each sold bag of jerky mix, the company donates a portion of the proceeds to the Fisher House Foundation, which builds housing for military and veteran families to use temporarily and free of charge while visiting a service member who is in a VA hospital.
