Laird Superfood updates liquid creamer line with USDA organic ingredients
Laird Superfood Inc. has reformulated its liquid creamer line to use U.S. Department of Agriculture certified organic ingredients, including organic coconut milk and organic vanilla extract. The company said the updated formula is designed to deliver “real-food ingredients and flavor” without natural flavors, seed oils or artificial sweeteners. The creamer line’s ingredients include lion's mane functional mushrooms, adaptogens and medium-chain triglycerides to deliver rich creaminess.
CEO Jason Vieth said the brand focused on keeping the formula free from artificial ingredients while adding functional benefits. He described the updated creamer as the result of strict nutritional standards and ongoing product innovation.
The line now includes a caramel variety, which is the brand’s first caramel offering. The new flavor joins Sweet & Creamy, Vanilla and Unsweetened, expanding options for consumers with different taste preferences.
Laird Superfood also updated its packaging, moving the product into a 22-ounce bottle made from post-consumer recycled plastic. It said the change is intended to reduce the packaging's environmental impact compared with bottles made from virgin plastic.
