Seeking to grow its coffee, tea and beverage solutions, Royal Cup Coffee & Tea has received an investment from Braemont Capital, a Dallas-based investment firm.

According to Royal Cup Coffee & Tea, the deal will provide both capital and operational support for innovation, expansion and service. Royal Cup, a family-owned business with a nearly 130-year history, said its leadership team will continue to oversee the company.

Chip Wann, CEO of Royal Cup Coffee & Tea, emphasized that the investment allows the company to build on its legacy and customer-first values. With additional capital, the company noted, it plans to expand its roasting and distribution capabilities and strengthen partnerships across the hospitality, foodservice, healthcare and convenience sectors. The partnership with Braemont is intended to bring “fresh perspectives, new resources and shared expertise,” Wann said, while maintaining the company’s values, legacy and traditions.

“We are thrilled to partner with Royal Cup, a brand whose reputation for quality, community and leadership speaks for itself,” said Wali Bacdayan, partner at Braemont Capital, in a statement. He said Braemont plans to support Royal Cup’s operational initiatives as it grows and to draw on the firm’s route-based distribution experience and Entrepreneur and Family Office Network.
