Commercial hydration station company Elkay — the brand behind bottle-filling stations in offices, schools and airports — has introduced a built-in filtered water dispenser for small offices and homes. According to the company, the Liv EZ provides commercial-grade filtered water wherever a water line is available, enabling filtered water in small breakrooms, gyms, or kitchens.

The dispenser is equipped with Elkay’s WaterSentry 71300C filter, which reduces lead, microplastics, chlorine taste and odor, forever chemicals, cysts and Class I particulates. Each filter lasts up to a year and is certified to NSF/ANSI 42, 53, 372 and 401 standards.

The glass-and-stainless-steel unit offers a high flow rate for quick bottle refills. A built-in LED backlight illuminates the back wall as water flows. The “Bottles Saved” counter lets users track their environmental impact. Electrical wiring is not required for installation, which the company says can be completed in an afternoon.

Jeff Schoon, president of Zurn Elkay, said in a release that the Liv EZ brings the filtration technology found in office coffee service (OCS) and workplace bottle-filling stations to home and small office environments, helping families and employees stay hydrated without single-use bottles.
