NEW YORK, Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Lavit is pleased to welcome consumer goods veteran and former Keurig leader, Christopher Stevens to its Board of Directors and growing list of investors. With more than 40 years experience in consumer goods, beverage, sales and marketing, and general management, Chris brings a rich background that will help further solidify Lavit's ownership of the single serve cold beverage category.

Chris is one of the four original team members to develop and launch the Keurig system. Stevens helped the organization grow over 17 years from selling handmade capsules to an eventual $14 billion sale. Keurig is now the #1 coffee brewer in the United States.

"Chris brings extensive knowledge and experience in the single serve category having built Keurig from the ground up," said Gian Matteo Lo Faro, Founder of Lavit LLC. "We look forward to his expertise as we continue to grow the brand in the commercial space and as we launch into the retail channel next year."

Prior to his time at Keurig, Stevens worked in sales management and as district manager for the Procter & Gamble company and later was president of beer distributor August A. Busch Co.

Chris is also the founder and CEO of CS 74 Ventures LLC, a holding company of 20+ initiatives in which he has invested or owns with the commitment of donating at least 50% of the profits to charitable or social causes.
