CHICAGO – October 26, 2015 – NAMA announced today that there is still time to register for the Fun Run/Walk at CTW, hosted by its Women of the Industry (WIN) group.
The 4k WIN Fun Run/Walk, taking place Tuesday, November 3rd from 6:30am-8:00am, is a first for the industry. A portion of event proceeds will go towards the NAMA Foundation to benefit NAMA’s signature FitPick® nutrition program. Honorary race co-chairs, Emily Jed of Vending Times and Emily Refermat of Automatic Merchandiser and VendingMarketWatch.com, will kick off the race at the start line.
“The WIN group has done a wonderful job organizing this event and we’re excited to announce that more than 70 attendees have registered so far,” said Pam Gilbert, NAMA Director of Association Services and staff liaison for WIN. “The title of the race says it all – it’s a fun run, and will be a fun way to start your day and network with colleagues. We welcome runners and walkers of all levels to participate – this race is a ‘don’t-miss’ at CTW.”
If CTW attendees have not yet registered for the Fun Run on the CTW website, they may contact Gilbert directly at [email protected] to register.
Onsite registration will also be available in the CTW registration area on Monday afternoon, November 2, and at the Fun Run location Tuesday morning, November 3. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a gift bag. The race begins and ends at The Gaylord National Resort. The rain date for the event is Wednesday, November 4 at 6:30 am.
