Starbucks Executives Outline Benefits Of New Technology In Q4 Earnings Call

Starbucks Corp is preparing to debut Deep Brew, an artificial intelligence initiative that will enhance personalization of drinks for customers, according to MarketWatch.

Starbucks is also expanding its use of Mastrena machines in stores, MarketWatch reported. Mastrena machines have Internet of Things sensors in them, acquiring telemetry data for Starbucks, and save time in espresso preparation, CEO Kevin Johnson stated in the article. Deep Brew will also optimize labor allocations and Mastrena machine maintenance.

The MarketWatch article also included reports on Starbucks' sales growth, financials and Starbucks Rewards program.
