Even though harvesting of 2019-2020 coffee crops has increased in Brazil, the average prices for robusta and arabica coffee are record lows in nominal terms, according to Comunicaffe International. The average price for arabica coffee type 6 between April 30 and May 15 - 381 Brazilian reals per 60-kilo bag - is the lowest price since February 2014, while the average price for robusta during that period - 272.18 Brazilian reals per 60-kilo bag, is the lowest since October 2014.
