Coffee Exports In 2017 Increased 15.9% Over Past 5 Years

The total coffee exports by country totaled $32.7 billion in 2017, according to World’s Top Exports. This is an increase of 15.9 percent over the past five-year period starting in 2013. The year over year gain increased by 7.5 percent from 2016 to 2017. The country with the highest dollar amount in exports was Brazil, at $4.6 billion, with 14.1 percent of total coffee export. Europe’s exported shipments made it the highest dollar value worth of coffee during 2017; the shipments amounted to $11.5 billion or 35.1 percent of the worldwide exported coffee.
