ICO: Arabica Prices Temporarily Under Pressure While Robusta Gains

The International Coffee Organization released its June 2017 Coffee Market Report with updates on Arabica and Robusta pricing. The ICO says that June was "volatile" with Arabica pricing falling and then rising to previous levels. Robusta prices closed higher than Arabica. Exports were strong at 10.9 million bags, which is nearly 9 percent higher than June 2016. The coffee market has a good supply as it heads into July when frosts are still possible in Brazil, cites the ICO.
