Avery's Beverages, an independent soda manufacturer based in New Britain, CT, has produced a limited edition soda brand, "Don't Tax Me Ned!", in protest of a 1.5 cent-per-ounce tax Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont proposed in his FY 2020-2021 budget, according to The Connecticut PostThe manufacturer posted about the soda brand and the tax on its Facebook page.
