Janus Announces PTCRB and AT&T Certification for Surface-Mount Cellular Modem

Jan. 12, 2021

AURORA, Ill. -- Janus Remote Communications, a division of Connor-Winfield Corp. that makes IoT products and solutions, said it has obtained PTCRB and AT&T end-device certification for its CellBridge LTE310SMT v1.00 surface-mount (SMT) embedded cellular modem.

The modem allows end users to assemble end device-certified embedded cellular modems onto application PCBs, eliminated the need for hand assembly. That means no more modem pin connection issues in the field. The LTE310SMT integrates Telit’s Global ME310G1-WW LTE module as a cellular engine, and operates in all Telit LTE bands, with fallback to 2G.

The modem costs $47 for each 1k unit.
