Facebook announced the launch of Facebook Pay, which will allow users to complete payments through Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp. While Facebook users already have the ability to make payments through these platforms, Facebook Pay claims to make transactions easier through a protected and secure process. Users can add their preferred payment method to Facebook Pay, eliminating the step of re-entering payment information for each use, and will be able to access real-time customer support. 

The Facebook Pay rollout will happen this week on Facebook and Messenger.
