Women in Technology’s (WIT) annual Women of the Year Awards celebrates female visionaries of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM), groundbreakers in business and remarkable leaders who make a difference in their workplace and community.
This year’s presenting sponsor is The Coca-Cola Company - the world’s largest total beverage company, offering over 500 brands to people in more than 200 countries.
“The Coca-Cola Company is proud to support the Women of the Year Awards,” said Barry Simpson, SVP & Chief Information Office. “At Coca-Cola, we support diversity and inclusion initiatives such as the WIT Awards.”
The Women of the Year Awards gathers top Georgia companies at the forefront of the STEAM industries to recognize and announce the Woman of the Year – women who demonstrate leadership in Small/Emerging Organizations, Medium/Mid-Size Organizations and Educational Institutions, Large/Enterprise Organizations, and Non-Profit Organizations. Additionally, one special WIT Girl will be recognized as the Girl of the Year for her exemplary achievement and dedication to STEAM education.
The 2018 Women of the Year Awards will take place Thursday, November 8, at the Georgia Aquarium. We hope that you’ll join us to celebrate these outstanding women.
Individual tickets are available for purchase online. For questions about event sponsorship, contact Pat Hurston at info(at)mywit.org or by phone at 470-823-3228.
