LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- USA Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: USAT), a leader of wireless, cashless payment and M2M/IoT solutions for small-ticket, self-serve retailing industries, showcased several premier strategic relationships while at this year's 2015 NAMA OneShowSM, held this past week at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Apple Pay and Google Wallet capabilities were highlighted in USAT's booth, along with its MORE.™ loyalty and rewards program, featuring Bluetooth payment and upgraded features such as the ability to use any major credit or debit card, or mobile wallet to accrue and redeem points. Mobile payments were a common theme throughout the show.
USAT and MasterCard participated in a joint educational session with Michael Lawlor, senior vice president of National Accounts and Business Development entitled: "Harnessing Consumer Trends to Increase Sales." The company also hosted MasterCard in its booth to celebrate the acceptance of MasterCard Debit at over 300,000 of USAT's merchant locations, and representatives from both companies were on hand to answer questions, discuss consumer trends, and promote awareness with giveaways.
Important alliances such as Vend Screen, Air Vend, ECRS and Vendors Exchange were prominently on display in the booth to help showcase USAT's open and flexible platform and ability to process payments and offer services for self-serve markets including dining and micro-markets. USA Technologies was also featured in some of its customers' booths including: TCBY Yogurt, Starbucks, Seaga, Vendors Exchange, 365, Par Level, Cantaloupe, CPI and Coffea Technologies.
USAT featured key customers in the booth, including Five Star Food Service, M&M Sales Company, Pepi Food Services and Amador Coffee and Vending. Customers eagerly shared their experiences with USAT's service and were invited to leave a video testimonial in the booth.
"Whenever we consider working with any technology partner, the first thing we ask is, does this technology work? Is it stable? Does it have backend support? When it comes to USA Technologies, the answer to all of those questions is yes," said Greg McCall, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Five Star Food Service. "They really do have it all. But beyond their technology, USA Technologies' biggest differentiator is the quality of their people. These are top-notch, seasoned professionals who think strategically and have great follow up and flexibility. That was extremely important to us, because we have very specific needs, and they adapted their programs and processes to work with us. That, to me, is the definition of a great partner."
"We chose to use USA Technologies because we found it to be very adaptable to the market," said Richard Wallace, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Cofffea Technologies. "The market is demanding a cashless system. USA Tech's cashless reader is very flexible and easy to connect. At Coffea, all of the technologies that we select need to be plug and play and USA Technologies meets that requirement. We are very pleased with this payment system and our relationship with USA Technologies."
