Apriva announced that Patricia Heit, the company’s director of partner integrations, will participate in a panel session on mobile point-of-sale technology at the M2M Evolution conference. The event is scheduled for Jan. 28 to 31 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Fla. The session, “Consumer Driven M2M,” will take place on Jan. 29 at 11:00 a.m.

In the discussion, Heit will discuss how businesses can integrate payments with other core business processes through machine-to-machine technology. As part of the session, Heit will describe various payment presentation methods and strategies for ensuring security and data privacy.

"Machine-to-Machine technology allows businesses to seamlessly monitor, manage and control assets," said Brian Sadowski, Apriva's senior vice president of information technology, in a prepared statement. “Integrating payments with other systems represents a significant opportunity for retailers that are looking to drive revenue, and increase customer satisfaction. M2M Evolution gives us a great opportunity to demonstrate how businesses can incorporate transactions through M2M solutions to maximize revenue, improve efficiency and satisfy the needs of consumers.”
