Cantaloupe Systems & Vendors Exchange Partner Together To Offer Remote Pricing And Merchandising Functionality
San Francisco, CA – April 11, 2017 – Cantaloupe Systems, the vending industry’s premier provider of cloud-based, mobile technologies that deliver an integrated end-to-end vending and payments solution, today announced it has entered into a partnership with Vendors Exchange, an industry leader in quality, value-based vending solutions for the convenience marketplace.
The partnership leverages Vendors Exchange’s UCB (Universal Control Board) and Cantaloupe Systems Seed Cashless devices to enable operators the ability to make pricing and merchandising updates remotely from any Web-based device through the Cantaloupe Systems platform.

With our new system, the Seed platform transmits pricing to the UCB, then the UCB updates the price on the machine and display. The new remote pricing and merchandising capability is enabled through the Seed Cloudä application. It can cost on average $32 per machine to have a technician update pricing per location, and with 200 machines that equates to an average of $6,400 dollars for one full price update effort across a business. Remote pricing updates also eliminate driver errors on pricing and secondary trips out to correct wrong pricing changes to machines. Time is saved and money isn’t wasted on pricing updates anymore with the Cantaloupe Systems and Vendors Exchange integration.

Pricing can now be altered as a part of a promotional campaign, that is targeted on moving out sale items or changes based on client needs.
