Candy brand Sour Punch, manufactured by American Licorice Co., is expanding its pickle-flavor offerings with All Pickle Straws, a new product set to launch mid-November.
The limited-edition, online-only release follows the brand’s previous “PickleRoulette” Straws, in which only one stick in a pack carried the pickle flavor. The all-dill LTO product is in response to growing consumer interest in bold and unexpected candy flavors, the company said.
While the product is initially available online, the novelty impulse item could attract attention in vending machines, micro markets and other snack channels once broader distribution begins.
