Zapp’s has added a new bold flavor with the launch of its Bayou Blackened Ranch chips, which blend Cajun-style blackened seasoning and zesty, tangy ranch.
Thick-cut potatoes serve as the basis for the kettle chips, which are cooked to develop Zapp’s familiar crunch. Other flavors in the lineup include Voodoo, Spicy Cajun Crawtators, Big Cheezy, Salt & Vinegar, Cajun Dill Gator-tators and Mesquite Bar-B-Que. The chips are offered in 1.5, 2.5 and 8-oz packages.
“With our new Bayou Blackened Ranch chips, we took a classic recipe and turned it up a notch to introduce a snacking experience that’s unmistakably Zapp’s and bursting with New Orleans flavor,” said Stacey Schultz, senior vice president of marketing at Utz Quality Foods LLC, a subsidiary of Utz Brands Inc., said in a release.
