Team Modern, which operates wholesale distributor Modern Vending, is building a 115,000-square-foot distribution center in Somerset, Ky., according to The Lane Report. The new center will allow the company to automate its product movement and provide more space for its foodservice business' freezers and coolers, the article stated.
The company also bought an office building at 155 Valley Oak Dr., Somerset, adjacent to the 70 acres that it will build the center on. The office building used to belong to Safe Auto Insurance Company.
