G & J Marketing and Sales, the vending/coffee service brokerage based in Palm Harbor, Fla., named industry veterans Steve Niemeier and Charles Meyers to its sales team.

G & J Marketing and Sales, the vending/coffee service brokerage based in Palm Harbor, Fla., named industry veterans Steve Niemeier and Charles Meyers to its sales team.

Niemeier represents the Kentucky and Ohio markets. He has 26 successful years of experience in the vending/coffee service industry. He was employed by PepsiCo Inc., in Louisville, Ky. beginning in 2004 holding the position of senior vending market development manager. Niemeier served as key member of the company vending sales team with primary responsibility to develop and grow Frito Lay, Quaker, Tropicana and Gatorade business within a defined geography. He held the responsibility for business development and management of distributors, operators, mobile catering and cash and carry business. Prior to PepsiCo, he was the general manager at Aramark Refreshment Services in Louisville, Ky. for seven years.

Meyers represents the Northern California market. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pa. with a bachelors of art in history and communication in 1996. Meyers was the operations manager at Vendmart in San Leandro, Calif. where he oversaw the departments of customer service, trucking and the warehouse. Prior to Vendmart, he was with the Golden State Warriors for 13 years as the NBA head video coordinator, and the freshman head coach at St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, Calif. for four years.
