Proposal For Lottery Ticket Vending Machines In Kansas
March 8, 2017
Vending machines in Kansas may soon sell lottery tickets under a bill pending in the state legislature, according to KMUW Wichita 89.1. Supporters of the bill say it would be more convenient for players while also reducing staff costs at stores selling tickets. They also estimate the bill would increase sales by at least $25 million. With the Kansas Lottery, 38 other states reportedly sell lottery tickets through vending machines.
