Fresh Express rolls out global-flavor chopped salad kits

Fresh Express is expanding its chef-crafted Chopped Salad Kits with four new varieties, the company says, inspired by global ingredients and restaurant-style flavor pairings. The new flavors include:

• Creamy Mushroom Caesar, which includes romaine, shaved parmesan, garlic croutons and cracked black pepper with a mushroom-forward Caesar dressing.
• Tropical Mango Crunch, which includes romaine, red cabbage and carrots with a tropical mango vinaigrette, plus plantain chips and roasted cashews.
• Zesty Hawaiian Crunch, which combines leafy greens, cabbage and carrots with dried pineapple and macadamia nuts and a sweet Hawaiian-style dressing with a “subtle kick,” the company said.
• Italian Herb & Parmesan, which includes iceberg, green leaf lettuce, red cabbage and carrots with focaccia croutons, shaved parmesan and an herb-focused dressing.

Fabian Pereira, vice president of marketing and innovation at Fresh Express, said the company developed the lineup to meet demand for more variety in convenient meal options.

The new kits are available immediately.
