Jack Link’s adds Carnivore Bites in Original and Teriyaki flavors
Jack Link’s has launched Carnivore Bites, a new beef snack positioned as a value-focused option for protein snackers.
According to Link Snacks, the product includes 65 pieces made with 100% beef and comes in Original and Teriyaki flavors. The company said Carnivore Bites provide 10 g of protein per serving and 110 g per bag.
Why this matters
- Value-driven pack formats are becoming a bigger lever as consumers seek lower-cost-per-serving snack options.
- High-protein positioning continues to succeed in packaged snacks, especially meat snacks with clear protein callouts.
- Larger, resealable “share or stock-up” style bags can help brands compete for basket space beyond single-serve.
- Operators should evaluate where value packs fit alongside — or in place of — single-serve items to avoid cannibalization.
- Consider pairing the item with beverage promotions to drive attach rates and increase basket size.
“We never stop pushing to give our consumers more of what they want, real protein and real value,” Holly LaVallie, senior vice president of marketing and research and development at Link Snacks, said in the announcement. She added that the product targets consumers who are watching their budgets while expecting more from food options.
Link Snacks described Carnivore Bites as a beef-based snack that contains zinc and iron, along with nutrients tied to muscle, bone and immune health.
The launch follows other recent Jack Link’s initiatives, including the 2025 introduction of Jack Link’s Duos, which pairs two flavors in one bag. In 2025, Link Snacks also announced a co-branded product line with social media creator MrBeast, featuring multipack meat sticks in turkey, beef and zero sugar varieties.
