Aspire Bakeries donates $160k to Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation
Aspire Bakeries donated $160,698 to the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation through a 2025 Otis Spunkmeyer cause-marketing campaign that supported efforts to fight food insecurity.
The donation was presented June 5 during the annual Sodexo Charity Classic in Colorado Springs, Colo. According to Aspire Bakeries, the gift marks a record contribution for the campaign.
The funds were generated through qualifying Otis Spunkmeyer product sales across the Sodexo and Entegra enterprise from September through December 2025. A portion of those sales was donated to the foundation, which focuses on food insecurity among children and other vulnerable populations.
Mark Goldrainer of Aspire Bakeries, who oversees the partnership, said the campaign’s second year exceeded the company’s 2025 donation. He attributed the growth to a longer campaign period, more qualifying products, stronger operator and customer engagement, and expanded point-of-sale materials.
Aspire Bakeries representatives Chris Prociv, Scott Gosselin, Goldrainer and Paul Stippich presented the donation to Sodexo and foundation representatives Joan McGlockton, Roxanne Moore and Dave Kourie.
Chris Prociv, chief growth officer of Aspire Bakeries, said the donation reflects the company’s long-standing relationship with Sodexo and a shared commitment to addressing food insecurity.
Aspire Bakeries and Otis Spunkmeyer are planning a fall 2026 campaign designed to expand the program’s reach across North America.
The companies will also serve as the primary sponsor of the Stop Hunger Foundation’s Community Rebuilding Project, scheduled for September 2026. The initiative will support recovery and rebuilding work in Altadena, Calif., following the 2025 Southern California wildfires.
