Fresh Express adds Mediterranean herb chopped kit to salad lineup

Fresh Express has expanded its salad portfolio with the launch of a Mediterranean Herb Chopped Kit. The 10.9oz kit combines kale, green cabbage, red cabbage, carrots and green leaf lettuce with chickpeas, feta cheese and a lemon-oregano vinaigrette.

Fabian Pereira, vice president of marketing and innovation at Fresh Express, noted that consumers are increasingly seeking flavor variety. He said the kit delivers a “perfect balance of premium ingredients and craveable flavor.”

For refreshment services and convenience services operators, the kit offers a ready-to-use for consumers seeking a “big salad” option in micro markets, workplace dining and grab-and-go settings.
