Sara Lee To Open 10,000-Square Foot R&D Center And Test Kitchen In Suburban Chicago

Next week, Sara Lee will be opening a 10,000-square-foot R&D space and test kitchen in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, where the company is now headquartered. Kohlberg & Co., a private equity firm, acquired the bakery brand from Tyson Foods in 2018 and plans to expand product offerings, as reported by the Chicago Business Journal.
