Van Wyk Confections is adding a new flavor to its popular Famous Fortune Cookies line. The new gourmet fortune cookie is fully submerged in a white birthday cake flavored coating and covered in colorful sprinkles. Inside each cookie is a positive message.
Van Wyk said the combination of the cookie’s crunch with the creamy chocolate is hard to resist, and the experience is enhanced even more by the inside message. “They are a fun addition to the micro markets and vending,” the company said.
Each 0.7-oz. cookie is individually wrapped and packed in a clear tub that holds 36 units. There are six tubs in a case (216 case ct.). All Famous Fortune Cookies have a suggested retail price of $0.99 to $1.29.
Van Wyk Confections is known for the original One Dollar Bars and Sweet & Salty Pretzel RODS. New Birthday Cake Famous Fortune Cookies will debut at this month’s NAMA Show in New Orleans.
