A Unique Food Hall Concept Paired with a Custom-Built Technology Platform Sets Cerner’s Innovation Campus Apart

[Merriam, KS, January 24th, 2018] Company Kitchen (formerly Treat America Food Services) is pleased to receive Food Management Magazine's Innovator of the Year award for their creative food hall implementation at Cerner Corporation’s Innovations Campus in Kansas City, MO. Company Kitchen worked closely with Cerner to design a cafe space that includes six distinct food concepts - Pangea (global fare), Swadesh authentic Indian cuisine, Green and Grains, Baker & Butcher, Founder’s Grill (gastropub-inspired food) and Novita (pizza and Italian).

Each of the six restaurants has a branded culinary approach and is supported by a massive central kitchen. In addition, CK’s proprietary ecosystem technology is used for cashless, kiosk-based ordering at all food hall outlets and micro markets. As part of the technology platform, mobile and desktop ordering are in place to enhance the consumer experience.

Through its digital displays and mobile app, CK is able to provide customers with attractive, engaging menu boards and robust promotional programs.

Company Kitchen is a national comprehensive workplace food service solution that combines cutting-edge technology with a large variety of fresh, locally sourced and healthy foods. CK Cafes, CK Markets, Company Joe (a branded national coffee program), and their robust data-driven wellness support provide employees a benefit that sets CK apart from its competitors. Company Kitchen provides resources to increase wellness at work as well as provide incentives and rewards to help employers build a healthier workforce.
